South End Penthouse
South End, Charlotte · 2024
The Challenge
Getting 800-pound thermally broken doors and floor-to-ceiling window walls into a high-rise penthouse with extreme wind-load requirements, a tight elevator footprint, and an active construction schedule with multiple trades.
Sightline's Solution
Sightline handled engineered shop drawings, structural confirmation with the project engineer, crane and rigging logistics through the building's facade, and flawless on-schedule installation across three site visits. Coordinated finishing with the millwork team for seamless transitions.
The Results
Delivered on schedule with zero callbacks. The completed penthouse passed its wind-load certification on first inspection and now serves as the project's photographed signature.
"The logistics alone would have killed this project. Sightline made the impossible look routine."
